Kentico Certified Content Administrator Training:
Certified Kentico Publisher Training Course (2 days onsite – £1800 plus VAT)
This two day instructor led course introduces content administrators to Kentico CMS. The training will instruct you on how to use Kentico CMS 5.5 to author and publish content. You will learn how to perform typical day-to-day tasks around managing content, security, workflow and advanced editorial tasks in the delivery of dynamic content to your site.
When it comes to ensuring the success of a client implementation of Kentico, user adoption is paramount. This two day instructor led course introduces client content administrators to Kentico CMS. The training will instruct on how to use Kentico CMS 5 to author and publish content and will ensure CMS users learn how to perform their typical day-to-day tasks around managing content, security, workflow and advanced editorial tasks in the delivery of dynamic content to a Web site. Additionally, it focuses on the introductory fundamentals and best practices for using Kentico CMS.
Target Audience
This course is intended for content editors and website administrators with little or no previous exp erience using CMS software and individuals tha t that are beginning to work with Kentico CMS 5 and wants to learn the core capabilities and essential skills. Attendees are expected to have basic computer skills, including the use of Internet Explorer and standard word processing tools such as Microsoft Word. Attendees are not assumed to have programming experience, nor will the training contain any programming related tasks.
Goals
After successfully completing this course, trainees will be fully equipped to use Kentico CMS for basic and advanced content authoring tasks.
Kentico Certified Developer Training:
Certified Kentico Developer Training Course (3 days onsite – £2700 plus VAT)
When it comes to ensuring the success of a client implementation of Kentico CMS, best practices and proper development methodologies are critical. This three day instructor led Certified Developer Training focuses on providing comprehensive training designed to speed deployments, promote best practices and showcase Kentico CMS capabilities. The training will instruct Web developers on the introductory fundamentals and best practices for building, deploying and maintaining applications with Kentico CMS 5. Additionally, it focuses on using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 development environment and the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5/4 to create Kentico CMS applications using the Kentico API, web parts, and widgets to deliver dynamic content to a Web site.
Target Audience
This course is intended for web developers with little or no previous Kentico CMS experience. Attendees are assumed to have knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) or Dynamic HTML (DHTML), along with programming experience using Microsoft Visual Basic or Microsoft Visual C#.
Goals
After successfully completing this course, trainees will be fully equipped to build a Kentico CMS based website, manage multi-site environments, configure load balanced and tiered deployment implementations, create/utilize custom web parts/modules and fully employ the Kentico CMS API.
Bespoke Kentico Training
Bespoke Training (onsite – £900 plus VAT per day)
This alternative is for non-certified training, bespoke to your needs. One of our Kentico certified training instructors will discuss with you your skill level, training requirement and how you use/intend to use the Kentico CMS features. We will then prepare a course specifically for you. Onsite training will be provided alongside training material in both PDF and screencast formats.
We will deliver any professional training in a relaxed and interesting manner.
