Tellonline @ The Media & Innovation Conference

The Media Innovation Conference is being held in Plymouth on Thursday 9th June 2011, and Simon Budd (Managing Director) and Marketing Manager Roman Maeschi will be attending from Tellonline.
The conference is another popular event organised by Plymouth Media Partnership in association with the Media Innovation Awards that follow on the evening after the conference.

We are really looking forward to the conference and especially the "Changing Landscapes" talk. It is being held at the National Marine aquarium and I understand there is a private tour at the end of the day.


ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
A fabulous line up of speakers and a full conference programme will be announced very soon, but sessions will include:

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
A leading industry figure will give a perspective of what is innovation and why is it important in business

CHANGING LANDSCAPES
Leading practitioners from across the UK and beyond will explore:
How are consumers interacting with media and technology, what are consumers doing differently and how does this interaction change across different age ranges.
What are the implications for technology and future media consumption?
How is technology changing in a trans-medial world - and how does that disrupt the process of creation? 

HOW TO BE INNOVATIVE WITHIN YOUR BUSINESS
A workshop session that will explore how leading companies have embeded a culture of innovation within their businesses and to give delegates an opportunity to plan how they can implement a similar culture in their own companies.

CLOSING KEYNOTE
A leading industry champion will give a vision of the future and outline the challenges and opportunities for businesses in the next decade.

4TALENT INSPIRATION DAY FOR BUDDING APP DEVELOPERS
Budding App developers in the South West are being given an exciting chance to get inspired at the Media & Innovation Conference, thanks to 4Talent at Channel 4. The 4Talent Inspiration Day is an opportunity for young people aged 16 and over who are interested in finding out more about designing, developing and marketing apps for smartphones. The Inspiration Day is on Thursday 9th June 2011 at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, and is part of the Media & Innovation Conference. Registration for this workshop has now closed.
